Chandan (Assamese) - dedicated to our master dyer Chandan
This shirt is naturally dyed, hand-spun and hand-woven by our team in and sewn in a small studio in Delhi. It is dyed with natural indigo.The silk is called and cultivated by Assamese tribal communities South West of Guwahati. It is a wild silk and the moth leaves a hole in the cocoon as it has to be empty before it can be processed. Therefore it has a structure which is rather similar to linen. No chemicals or pesticides have been used during the process.
The shirt has a relaxed yet tailored fit.
It has a short and elegant collar in the polo style. The buttons are 100% shell and there are detailed stitches on the sleeves. Available in S, M, L, XL. The model wears size M.
